Terms And Conditions

Booking an event with Lanarkshire Paranormal automatically means you have agreed to the following terms and conditions.

  • Alcohol and/or drugs are not permitted during or immediately prior to any of our events. If we suspect that somebody is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, they will be asked to leave without refund.

  • Investigations are only available to persons aged 18 and over.

  • You must inform the team of any health problems prior to an event. Please note that some investigations will include steps, walking and uneven floors. If this could be a problem, please check before booking.

  • All persons attending an investigation must bring a torch as most of the evening will be spent in the dark.

  • Smoking is not permitted at any of our venues except in designated outdoor areas which you will be made aware of on the night. We ask that all attendees show respect for the venue and place all cigarette ends in the ashtrays provided.

  • All locations must be respected. Many locations contain antiques that can be easily damaged and we ask that all attendees consider this whilst on location. Attendees must act in a sensible manner with respect for the property, contents and surroundings.

  • Transport is not included on any of our investigations.

  • Sleeping facilities are not included on any of our investigations. You are required to stay awake for the duration of the investigation.

  • You are staying at the location at your own risk and we accept no liability for any accident or injury to yourselves, however caused. It is advised that attendees preferably have their own third-party public liability insurance. 

  • We are taking you to reputedly haunted locations, but we cannot guarantee paranormal activity. We will not fabricate anything on any of our investigations.

  • You must stay within your allocated group for safety reasons and inform your team leader should you wish to leave the group. If you are feeling unwell or the need to leave an area you are investigating someone will come from the hub to collect you.

  • All personal belongings, bags, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. Lanarkshire Paranormal are not responsible for the safe custody of participants’ property for its loss, damage or theft.

  • All investigations are under instruction of the location manager/owner, we cannot guarantee access to all areas of a location as some areas may be deemed unsafe or restricted.

  • By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organisers/promoters from and against all legal liability in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from your participation in the activity.

  • Lanarkshire Paranormal reserve the right to publish any pictures or other footage from the investigation in which you may appear in.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, you will be required to sign in before each investigation begins for safety purposes.

Refund Policy

  • Requests for a refund between six and four weeks prior to the event will be paid less a 50% cancellation charge.

  • This percentage relates to the FULL cost of the event.

  • No refunds will be given less than four weeks prior to the event unless there are exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Lanarkshire Paranormal.

  • Tickets are not transferable without prior consent from Lanarkshire Paranormal. Any tickets resold without our prior knowledge will become invalid.

  • No refunds will be given for lack of paranormal activity during the event.

  • Lanarkshire Paranormal reserve the right to cancel any event in which you will be offered an alternative investigation.

If you cannot attend an event then please contact us as soon as possible.
